Dry red wine Vinos de La Luz Iluminado Ribera del Duero 2015
One of the oldest grape varieties in Europe – Tempranillo, in cultivation of which people were engaged in 2000 years ago. The unique combination of continental climate, high iron content in the soil and an altitude of 762 meters above sea level gives the wines from the Spanish Tempranillo from the vineyards of Ribera del Duero a deep, rich taste with pronounced tannins.
This is how Vinos de La Luz Iluminado Ribera del Duero was created, which is my clear favorite among the wine masterpieces of Spain.

Iluminado Ribera del Duero Tasting Notes
The dominant flavors of the Spanish Iluminado Ribera del Duero from Vinos de La Luz are ripe cherries, tobacco, and coffee. Ribera del Duero winemakers prefer traditional aging in French oak barrels, so the wine has a characteristic brick-orange hue. The extraordinary and bright taste of Iluminado contrasts with the light texture. The aftertaste is quite long and rich in tannins. This wine is best suited to red meat, fried vegetables, dishes based on tomato sauces and steaks. Serving temperature from 16 to 18° C.
